Step2 was founded in 1992 with the intention of developing an innovative package for resource and staff planning. This product was launched in September 1992 and is Step2's 'flagship' product, Retain.
Retain continues to develop and is now available on 3 different database platforms.
In addition to Retain an integrated timesheet system, Retime, was launched in 1995.
1999 sees the launch of a new product developed with House of Kensington for professional information management.
